1. Criminal Procedure Code
2. Indian Penal Code
3. Indian Evidence Act
4. Indian Constitutional Law
More than 80% of the questions in Part A (Multiple Choice Questions) and 90% in Part B i.e. Written answers,, will comprised of above subjects.
Minor Acts:
There are altogether 29 Central and State Acts. But one must focus more on below 5 subjects.
1. Domestic Violence Act
2. Right to Information Act
3. SC & ST Atrocities Act
4. Prevention of Corruption Act
5. Dowry Prohibition Act.
In the last two exams held in Feb 2011 and Dec 2011, more than 15% questions were asked from above subjects ONLY in Part A.
